ASSOCIATE CYBER SECURITY SOLUTIONS CONSULTANT (M/F)

We are looking for an Associate Cyber Security Solutions Consultant (m/f) to join our Professional Services & Innovation Team.

Our team has two closely connected missions: helping deliver large and strategically important projects across Infigo IS and for our clients, and continuously improving how we work. We research and test new technologies, build prototypes and automations, and use internal AI tools and models to reduce repetitive work, speed up delivery and improve the quality of results. This is an associate position, so we do not expect years of professional experience. We care much more about curiosity, initiative and evidence that you enjoy building, testing and improving things.

Position is available in Zagreb, Croatia

YOUR DUTIES WILL BE

1. Working on large, strategic, company-wide and client-facing professional services projects, from research and proof of concept through implementation and handover;
2. Looking for repetitive, slow or inefficient ways of working and proposing practical improvements;
3. Experimenting with internal AI tools and models to improve analysis, delivery quality, documentation, knowledge work and other team workflows;
4. Building prototypes, scripts, automations and lightweight integrations that turn good ideas into usable solutions;
5. Researching emerging technologies and testing whether they can provide measurable value in real projects;
6. Working with technical and business teams to understand requirements, challenge assumptions and find simpler or faster ways to reach the goal;
7. Documenting, demonstrating and sharing successful approaches so they can be reused and adopted by other teams.

SKILLS THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE

1. Strong curiosity and a habit of learning, experimenting and exploring technologies independently,
2. Basic coding or scripting knowledge and the ability to read, understand and modify existing code,
3. Ability to break down unclear or unfamiliar problems and test practical solutions,
4. Comfort working with new tools and technologies without needing detailed step-by-step instructions,
5. Initiative to spot opportunities for improvement and follow ideas through to a working prototype or useful result,
6. Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical colleagues, clients and management,
7. English language in verbal and written communication,
8. Reliability in meeting deadlines while maintaining quality, with willingness to travel abroad occasionally.

SKILLS THAT ARE A BIG PLUS (ANY OF THEM)

1. A personal portfolio that shows curiosity and initiative, such as side projects, GitHub repositories, home-lab experiments, open-source contributions, hackathon projects or technical write-ups,
2. Practical experience with AI or LLM tools, for example agents, local models, RAG, prompt and workflow design, evaluation or AI-assisted automation,
3. Programming experience, preferably with Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, Java or C#,
4. Experience working with APIs and integrating different systems or services,
5. Experience with source code management systems such as Git,
6. Experience with Linux based operating systems and container technologies such as Docker,
7. Experience with automation or DevOps tools such as Ansible, CI/CD platforms or infrastructure-as-code tooling,
8. Exposure to cybersecurity technologies or operations, including SIEM, SOC, Splunk, endpoint or network security solutions,
9. Basic knowledge of SQL, data processing or data analytics,
10. Exposure to cloud platforms or modern application architectures,
11. Bachelor or master's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technologies or a related field, or equivalent knowledge gained through self-directed learning and practical work.
